I wanna play FF 14 realm reborn, seems fun though, I played the FF 14 old version before, it was ok, but it seems like my pc is outdated already, so it was a bit laggy with the lowest quality of the graphic. haha

inspired by the elf from The Hobbit film. I love the Hobbit film, it was awesome :D

Bola Kampung trailer 2 and fanart

A fanart of bola kampung! Bola kampung is an animated film that I'm working on in my company in Malaysia. It will be released soon in March 2013 and in 3d stereo too.
This girl is princess Amanda of Kingdom Hill. She is the only good looking character in the film that I found, lol.
I'm working in the lighting department for this film. And it's already toward end of production.. yeeeyyy
I can't wait to do my final scene of my lighting file hahaha. It was a good experience to work in a movie even thought  a lot of problems happened. There are a lot of limitation that I experienced, so we can't really make good lightings. It was so sad when I can't make something beautiful. and yeah disappointed of that limitation. I believe we can make something more than that, so I hope next project would be nice! :D

Merry Christmas! It's been long time I didn't update my blog. I've been very busy lately. I'm gonna share some of my works later when it's done :D
Happy holiday! anyway I don't have holiday T.T cause I have to finish my work before my impossible deadline...

Hilvfeor's expression sheet

This is the expression sheet of Hilvfeor from my 3d shorts animation film "Stargazer"
It was so much fun creating the expression, and it was hell tweaking the blendshape in maya  LOL
I tried to make rich expression for him, so I made a lot of blendshapes!

This is what it looks like in viewport. And that's the controller for his facial expression. It's not that much controllers, but it's more than enough for my short animation! It can create any expressions. I should have put more exageration  and flexibelity of the skin to make him more alive. And so, here is the render result!

Anyway about the lighting, to test the skin shader for Hilvfeor, I tested it using reference light from "Tangled"

So, here is the testing result. I'm happy with the result! :D

I know, it's a bit different (or much? lol u decide). I guess it's because they use renderman for rendering. Renderman has a really good result and soft compared to mental ray. And it's not really sync to mental ray shader, haha duuh of course =.=
