Some of you guys may probably say that this piece looks like pixarish or Disney style. And your answer is correct, I have a lot of influenced by Glen Keane's style. Not only Glen Keane, but I do have many artists that influenced me. So, here is my latest painting! :)

The Girl on Fire

This is it, my final result of my latest model that I made previously. How is it? Does she looks uncanny valley? I hope not. I put my effort to made this lol. actually I was slacking off during the process. It suppose to finished the end of last month, but I delay for 1 week. hahaha. I did some sketching for my freelancing work as well, so it's a bit multitasking that time. 

So anyway, here is the helm render and bare face of the girl. 

Pacific Rim fanart!!!

Pacific rim was soo awesome!!!
My first robot film that I really like!!! The characters are awesome, especially Mako Mori. She's a tsundere lol
so, if u guys thing the film is all about robot, u guys are wrong. It's still about characters!!
The director, Guillermo is a genius! I like his other film that he direct as well, It's Pan's Labyrinth. It's a horror gothic fantasy film. lol

Anyway, Pacific Rim was epic because of the expensive CG as well. The robots/jaeger are amazingly detailed and I believe it's really heavy to render haha
My favorite jaeger was the Australian one, Striker Eureka!

She looks more human now :D

I'm quite happy with the result. but I still need to tweak the skin. I wanted to add some more detail of make up and also trying more advance sss shader...

I've been doing this model lately. I made this for my own portfolio. I realized that the skin is a bit too strong, so I'm gonna change it later, and update soon with the skin texture...

Study of Emily, I love her smile. It was really hard to create the smile, I don't know, but I still need to study more on painting

Dragon Hunting

Another practice, this was meant for a contest by square enix in Indonesia about fantasy. But I was too late, so here it is :)

This is my process of this digital painting, I started with sketch of course, and then black and white tone for seeing the composition, positive n negative space. Then I made the environment of the BG and then I finished the character. But then, I feel not satisfied with the result and I totally changed my background into bigger dragon lol.

Anyway Square Enix is opening their branch in Indonesia under the name of Square Enix Smilework. They are working on android game I guess. here is the webfor those who is interested: http://www.square-enix-smileworks.com/id/
I hope they are working fine in Indonesia, and Square Enix has been 1 of my favorite game company, I love final fantasy and kingdom hearts :)

I wanna play FF 14 realm reborn, seems fun though, I played the FF 14 old version before, it was ok, but it seems like my pc is outdated already, so it was a bit laggy with the lowest quality of the graphic. haha
